Queen for Kids

A while back I noticed a couple of odd themes recurring in the family movies I had watched over the previous week. Here is another one.

Queen's "Somebody to Love." The song occurs in both Ella Enchanted and Happy Feet. In both cases, it is not part of the soundtrack, but is actually performed within the story by the female lead.


It seems a little strange to me that a song with the chorus "Need somebody to love bite" would become a kids' movie standard. But who am I to judge? I teach my kids to quote Conan.
